Jeffrey Cibella |
|
Jeffrey Cibella is a graduate from Kent State University with an associate degree in Electrical Engineering. Having lived in the area for 62 years, he has been a member of ASECU since 1986. Jeffrey is a small business owner, having established TU LLC, where he was Vice President and served on the Board of Directors. At TU LLC Jeffrey oversaw daily operations, as well as hired employees and wrote company policies.
Jeffrey states that he "already has some ideas for ASECU and would like the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors". |

Mitchell Paxson |
|
Mitchell Paxson is a graduate of Lordstown High School, graduating in 1968. He served three years in the US Army as a stock control and accounting specialist from August 1968-1971, earning the rank of E-5. After the Army, Mitchell worked at Packard Electric in Warren from 1971 until 2005. His last position was as a payroll clerk for Asia Pacific Sales Group. He then worked at Lowe's from 2005-2020 as the display manager and later in commercial sales as an estimator. Mitchell is also a graduate of Kent State University, where he studied to be a Legal Assisting Paralegal. He has served as a Board Member at Shepherd of the Valley for one year. He also served two terms as Board of Education member for Lordstown High School (1984-1992). Most recently, he has served as a Board of Election Official in the last two elections and is presently enjoying retirement. |

Fred Owens |
|
Fred Owens was a Professor of Business and Program Head of Communications at YSU for the past 50 years until his retirement in 2021. He was twice named Distinguished Professor of YSU and received the Stephen H. Coltrin Award for Excellence in Communication Education for the International Radio and Television Society Foundation. He served as chairman of the YSU Dept. of Communication from 1983-1998 and more recently developed an Emmy nominated TV show called "Homework Express"- a show aimed at helping middle and high school students learn math. He has also participated in and supervised major strategic planning projects, authoring YSU's first Strategic Plan in 1993.
Fred is also active in the local community, serving previously as President of the Youngstown Rotary Club and President of the Austintown Growth Foundation. Since being elected to the ASECU's Board of Directors in 2021, he has worked to advocate for the financial interests of ASECU's members, as well as helping he Board and Executive staff to achieve goals. Among these goals are operating in good practice with regulators and auditors, achieving generous returns on investments for members and keeping current with technology practices in the industry. |

John B. O Conner |
|
John O'Conner is retired from General Motors Lordstown. He was a photographer and videographer at the GM Lordstown West Complex working as an electrician for 30 years after receiving his Journeyman's Certificate in November 1976. John is also a veteran of the United States Army where he served as a Crypto Repairman from 1966-1969. He held top secret clearance in the largest communication site in Europe. He was also a recipient of the PSA Award from the Photographic Society of America.
John served on the Cavalier FCU Board of Directors from 2003-2009 and has been an ASECU Director since the merger with Cavalier FCU in 2009. He currently serves as Treasurer for ASECU. While serving on ASECU's Board of Directors, John has been involved in many Strategic Planning Sessions, as well as being on numerous committees, where he has been dedicated to keeping ASECU moving forward and advocating for its members. |

Joseph S. Rosky |
|
Joseph Rosky is a lifelong resident of the Youngstown/Boardman area. A retired Boardman Firefighter, he served on the RSC Credit Union Board of Directors from 2008-2020. While on the RSC Board he was the head of the Supervisory Audit Committee, where he ensured adherence to both federal and charter regulations. Joe continued to serve the Credit Union movement by joining the ASECU Board of Directors after RSC/ASECU merger in 2020.
Joe currently serves as the Secretary on the ASECU Board of Directors. Joe has worked diligently on the ASECU strategic Plan, as well as being involved with updating policy. Joe has worked alongside the rest of the ASECU Board of Directors to help bring new technology to the membership and continues to look out for the members' best interests. |
