James Swinderman, Incumbent
James Swinderman CSE Federal Credit Union member 9 years
CSE Board member for 4 years

I am seeking to remain a member of the Board of Directors for CSE Federal Credit Union; to continue to serve our membership by providing valuable financial services to the communities in which they live, work, learn, and worship.

Having served on the Board of Directors over the past four years, through the global pandemic, selecting a new CEO, being named the #1 Credit Union in Ohio by Forbes - FOUR years straight, expanding our service area, and achieving outstanding growth, now exceeding $400M in assets, has been both exciting and rewarding. I have such incredible respect and appreciation for our leadership team, employees, and of course our amazing members.

With more than 30-years of business management and senior leadership experience, a Master of Business Administration degree specializing in Finance, a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Marketing, and a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification, I possess the knowledge, skills and hands-on experience to make a positive contribution to the ongoing growth and success of CSE and would consider it a privilege to be able to continue to serve our members.

Adrian McNeal
Adrian McNeal CSE Federal Credit Union member 4 years

With a strong foundation in team management, business development, and building genuine customer relationships, I've had the privilege of leading sales teams and consistently exceeding targets. My experience extends to financial services, real estate, property management, and affordable housing, all of which have shaped my understanding of what it takes to build a thriving, community-focused organization.

My commitment to the Stark County community runs deep. Along with my wife Rochelle, we have raised our four children here, and this community is where we've poured our hearts into various initiatives. Through this work, I've seen first-hand how powerful it can be when a community comes together to make a lasting difference.

I'm seeking a seat on the CSE Board of Directors to use my skills and experience to serve the credit union and its members. I believe my background in governance, policy development, and business operations, combined with my passion for community service, will help guide CSE toward continued success. The opportunity to contribute to an organization that shares my values of growth, stability, and service to others is something I'm truly excited about.

J Dennis Flechtner, Incumbent
J Dennis Flechtner CSE Federal Credit Union member 42 years
CSE Board member 16 years, currently serving as Treasurer

I have been on the CSE Board of Directors for 16 years and currently serve as Treasurer. I would like to continue my service. I served on the Search Committee to hire a new CEO due to the retirement of Stanley Barnes. Our challenge will be to work to continue the growth of CSE and maintain our status as the top Credit Union in the State of Ohio. Other challenges will be to expand the use of online and mobile banking, utilization of social media in our daily operations, provide competitive and attractive interest rates and offer a diversified range of services while continuing to provide a personalized service experience to members.

With my Engineering background, I serve as Chairman of the Building Committee. I was involved in the improvements and upgrades of the Market Avenue and North Canton offices, as well as the construction of the Meyers Lake office. I also participate in the Data Security and Oversight Committees.

Being retired, I continue to be active in the community serving on the Board of Trustees of Faith United Methodist Church and Treasurer of Cuyahoga Valley Section of the American Society of Highway Engineers.

Stephen Lewis, Incumbent
Stephen Lewis CSE Federal Credit Union member 34 years
CSE Board member 3 years, currently serving on the Supervisory Committee

It has been an honor to be able to serve CSE as a Director during the past three years. I have been able to learn and engage with the employees and members through service on the Scholarship, Nominating, and Supervisory Committees. I continue to be impressed by the CSE staff and leadership as they successfully meet the needs of our membership in an ever-changing financial services environment. This term has only strengthened my resolve as an advocate of CSE, its mission, purpose, and leadership position among credit unions. As a 30-plus year member, I have watched CSE grow in its ability to serve our community as I have grown in my financial literacy. I remained a loyal member despite relocating out-of-state and supporting local credit unions, thereby gaining insight into the differences that separate CSE as a preeminent institution. As a licensed attorney and practicing engineer with over 15 years of Fortune 500 consulting experience, I will continue to bring a unique perspective to the director position to help CSE maintain its position of excellence. I appreciate the opportunity to volunteer for CSE as it continues to serve as a bedrock financial institution, employer, and champion of our community.
