Merger Election

We are writing to inform you of a significant development that we believe will further strengthen our ability to serve you. After careful consideration, the Board of Directors of HMSA Employees’ Federal Credit Union (HMSA EFCU) has received NCUA (National Credit Union Administration) approval to pursue a potential merger with Hawaii State Federal Credit Union (HSFCU). This decision was made with the best interests of our members in mind, and we are excited about the opportunities this merger will bring.

Starting today, members may vote on the merger using one of the following options:

• Online – click the Begin Voting button above to submit your vote no later than Tuesday, October 15, 2024, noon, Hawaii Standard Time.
• By phone: 855-954-5254
• OR by mail – use the paper ballot that is part of the voting packet or download this ballot, print it out and mail to:

  Your mail-in ballot must be received, not postmarked, by Tuesday, October 15. It will be received by CU Ballot, based in Ohio, which is providing independent and secure voting services for this proposed merger.

  Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Noon
  HMSA Building - KOA/HAU Conference Room (in the main lobby)
  818 Keeaumoku Street, 1st Floor, Honolulu (validated free parking - parking entrance on Sheridan St.)
  Doors open at 11:30 a.m.
